Mo Laudi
Mo-Laudi is a radio and club DJ, MC, poet, promoter, co-owner of a label called Wicked Old Lady. Inspired by 80’s rock, old school hip hop, electro, afro beat, ‘Coupé Décalé’ and dubstep he developed an eclectic style of his own, in which rhythm and heavy beats play an important role. Mo Laudi arrived in London in 2000 where he started working for Radio SA. He would invite African djs at ‘The Joburg Project’ and musicians such as Yvone Chaka Chaka, Tony Kgoroge, Benni Macarthy, Aaron Mokoena would hang out there when they’d come to London. House and afrobeat innovators Crookers, Rivastarr and Brodinski have remixed his work as DJ and MC of the Radioclit. \r
