Bazey
Bazey is a Filipino hip-hop rapper and songwriter, hailing from Malolos, Bulacan. Born Josel Ferrer, he started his early hip-hop underground career around 2009. With his "8-Baze" persona, Ferrer released his first solo album, "Aking Sandata." After roughly 10 years of hiatus to focus on his career behind music, he now returns to the scene as Bazey. More than a change in his stage name, he also tweaked his genre to hip-hop songs that encourage and inspire people from different walks of life. "Byahe," Ferrer’s latest single, tackles the subject many of which could relate—the struggles of losing hope and surviving with support, confidence and direction. "Byahe" is all about self-encouragement and bouncing back amidst life's challenges.
