Itsu
The first thing to you should know about Itsu (Ben Jancovich) is that he doesn’t much care for genres. Terms like psychedelic, IDM, glitch, drum and bass, dubstep, and ambient are relevant, but not quite adequate to describe his style. Itsu’s lush, underwater soundscapes and ethereal melodies soothe the listener into a false sense of security before exploding into a barrage of distorted granular synthesis, rumbling sub bass and frenetic breakbeats.There is something strangely familiar about these tracks, but at the same time, they're not quite like anything you've heard before.
