At very young ages, Collin Brace and Troy Akers fell in love with the craft of writing a song. \r

But in two separate places. \r

Until the Fall of 2004, Brace and Akers lived in different towns, learning what it meant to bring a song to life on the guitar and piano, respectively. Little did they know, when they met in Nashville at a local university, that their two passions would collide to create a band what is known today as The CO. Staying up late writing songs about heart beliefs and first loves lit a spark that blossomed and led them to become a stellar duo of penmanship in melody and music. Founding a band was neither difficult nor up for question when Collin brought the idea to Troy. Each found their closest friends to take the rolls of lead guitarist, bassist and drummer.
