Born in New Jersey and raised in Carolina, RioGrande, Loíza and Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico, Chyno Nyno is next in line to take over the Latin Hip-Hop/Reggaeton crown! Introduced at an early age to music by his father who was a popular salsa DJ in New Jersey, Chyno grew to love all types of music. His influences range from salsa to soul to hip-hop music. Growing up, Chyno got accustomed to being around musicians and eventually this led him to follow his father's footsteps by taking his turn on the turntables as a DJ. In the late 80’s Chyno started to perfect his craft as a lyricist. He soon moved from Carolina to Rio Grande where he started to perform shows around Loiza and Rio Grande with DJ Adam (currently Tego Calderon's DJ).
