The mysterious Desta Cullen is back on Skeleton to further introduce us to his warped interpretation of Techno. Pin1 is the most straightforward of the three tracks here, with strong Detroit vibes running throughout, and constantly evolving electronics supporting the loopy vibe. On Pin2 we are submerged into a sonar-esque atmosphere, reinforced by retro bleeps while mangled stabs and distressed audio float above the loose rhythm section. Pin3 closes the EP, and is a broken, low-tempo affair, leaving ample room for the bass to unfold as distorted drum bits and soaring, nostalgic pics paint a psychotic picture.
