Transatlantic
Tempogeist is a Belgium-based band consisting of Dries Nijs and Thomas Swerts. Inspired by artists like Chromeo, Breakbot and Aeroplane, they decided to join hands in 2011. Meanwhile, they have become an up and coming name in the world of nu disco music.
After a year of hard work their debut EP 'Transatlantic' is now out on Shiny Disco Club.
With artwork by Verbal Picks (Klaxons, Ghostpoet), guest vocals by Nidia, Samuel and Lisa Dank and remixes by Satin Jackets, Rogue Vogue and Prometones, this EP defines what Tempogeist stands for: stylish disco music driven by funky rhythms, slap-happy base lines, melodic synth-lines and catchy vocals.
