Stand Down EP
Colman Buckley & Ray Taff, known collectively as 'Dog Days' make a long awaited return to Assembly Records, following up 'Woofer' (their much lauded 2012 outing) with a new 3 tracker, 'Stand Down'. A rich tapestry that wears it's 4/4 rhythms and its Chicago influences with immense pride, this EP features 3 tracks that combine sensuous vocals, tight percussion and melodic hooks that will be lodged in your brain for days to come.
Opening with the eponymous 'Stand Down', this refined track is a warm, luscious, 5-minute voyage into chilled out territories.
The second track sees the duo shift into second gear. Guided by a kick to make Beckham proud, it glides along on a cushion of thick bass and glittering arpeggios.
Closing the EP is 'Know You're Mine', which has been getting all manner of buzz at the pair's DJ outings. A firm favourite, it's now out for public consumption by popular demand.
The EP will hit the shelves...
