JD Miller was formed in 2011 by Tommy Timonen (guitar) and Peter Halldén (Vocals). Tommy had by this time left the project State of Drama because their music drew more attention pophållet while Tommy wanted to compose more rock-influenced music. Peter and Tommy therefore decided to try and write some songs and it all culminated in the band's first single called 'Devil's Vengeance'. 

On "Devil's" Mikael "Bille" Bielinski (Egonaut) plays the base and Sebastian Hallifax (State of Drama) drums. Sebastian and Bille was also full members of the first JD Miller, who saw the light of day. Due to previous engagements with other projects Sebastian was replaced by Emil Eriksson and Bille by Freddy Zielinski during 2012. Also Jakob Larsson joined the band playing guitar.

With this setup the EP 'Bones' and the single 'Vision of Sin’ was released in 2013. The debut album 'Grand Intentions' was released together with the single 'Let It Burn' in 2014...
