This isn’t Brandon Clark’s first rodeo, merely a reprisal and chance to turn up the intensity with BC & The Big Rig. With the release of the band’s new album, Day Late Dollar Short (due September 14), Clark isn’t afraid to wear a lifetime of influences on his sleeve. Drawing inspiration from everyone from Deep Purple to Merle Haggard, Pearl Jam to the Eagles, and Steve Earle to Soundgarden, Clark and his crew make it all come together seamlessly, bound together with a healthy dose of Heartland rock informed by the likes of Petty, Springsteen, and Mellencamp.
