Singer/producer/songwriter Christopher Crommett's «Navidad de mi niñez» (Christmas of My Childhood) celebrates Puerto Rico's rich customs & heritage. With traditional and newly-composed songs, the recording showcases both tender and soaring vocals, and gorgeous arrangements & orchestrations by Grammy Award-winner Gary Anderson. Styles range from classical oratorio to upbeat Latin, combined into a joyful, inspiring and entertaining musical journey.
[Portions of the proceeds from the sale of this CD will be donated to the nonprofit Health & Education Relief Organization to build schools, clinics and basic infrastructure in Haiti and to the scholarship fund of Academia del Perpetuo Socorro in Puerto Rico, Chris` first alma mater.]
