Music By the Yard
Yet another different direction on this the fifth solo album from Glyn "Bigga" Bush, the references here are abstract hip hop of the Madlib and J Dilla variety, orchestral sounds of Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, the classic 60s and 70s library music exemplified by Basil Kirchin, Bruton, KPM, Bosworth and Chappell, incidental music and soundtracks, progressive rock and trip hop. The 23 tracks go in all directions but the emphasis is always on beats and grooves.
