From the beginning, Dallas native, LINK (born Lincoln C. Browder) knew that he had been anointed with the gift of song. A gifted drummer, keyboardist, singer, songwriter and producer, LINK developed his God given talents while singing in the choir and performing in church. As he grew physically he matured musically; performing throughout his elementary and high school careers, all the while honing his craft. LINK emulated such R&B and gospel greats as Donnie Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, Peabo Bryson, Michael Jackson, The Commissioned and Aretha Franklin. In addition to LINKs legendary status as a local singing sensation, was the unrivaled attention he received for his burgeoning basketball abilities. A star in high school, LINK received a full athletic scholarship to play small forward for Southern Universitys basketball powerhouse in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
