"Music has the power to be a social weapon. I learned that early on in my homeland of Ethiopia, where I was influenced by African, Reggae and Pop rhythms. From the time I was eight years old I felt we could communicate and educate ourselves to the meaning of love and understanding through music. I have interpreted my African sound and heritage for a global audience. I hope my music connects to your mind, body and soul."
