Can't Tame Me / Benders Can Play
The Benders were four college friends that formed a band in 1964. They played college parties and night clubs. In 1966 they traveled to Big Sound records to record the now classic garage band classic Can't tame Me. After college the band broke up and the members went there separate ways. Turns out that over the years the A side of their 45, Can't Tame Me, has become a record collectors favorite world wide. After receiving some press about the 45, the band members contacted each. And after not having seem each other in over 48 years the guys got together. They so much fun jamming that they went into the studio and recorded this new five song CD. It includes their smoking remake of Can't Tame Me. The other four tracks include the digitally remastered sides from the original 45 along with two new original tracks. After all these years these guys can still rock!
