Born Grayln Tate Jr. (Que) on October 16, 1992 in Baton Rouge, LA. As a youth, I played basketball but ever since I could remember, I loved rap music. In my spare time between schoolwork and basketball practice, I used to write poetry and rap it to instrumentals everywhere i could find privacy. All of my daddy’s friends used to call me little Pimp C because I was only 5 and was a huge fan of UGK but I was just a fan of good music. My daddy used to find my rap books around the house and throw them away, but since I was in love with hip-hop, I used to write them over and hide them inside my homework folders. Because of basketball tournaments, we traveled a lot and to keep me quiet, my daddy would make me read the dictionary and that helped me write better and expand my vocabulary.
