Ignore the Ignorant is the fourth studio album of the British band The Cribs. The album is due to be released in the United Kingdom on September 7, 2009 following the release of the single Cheat On Me. The following day in the United States, the album will appear on the iTunes Store only until the official release on November 10.
The album was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Nick Launay. It will be the first album by The Cribs to feature Johnny Marr of The Smiths playing guitar with the rest of the band
