"Almost Alone" began as a journey of self-discovery and a desire to strip down to the basics. I found that being completely alone in the studio (besides the engineer), I was able to be completely creative without distractions. I was then able to freely explore all facets of the music, pull things out that were lost in the corners of my mind, and finally bring them into the light where they could be seen.

This is an "autobiography-in-song" where I take trips through love, devotion, repentance, despair, and hope. I played all the instruments and performed all the vocals, but I was never truly alone during this entire project as I invited God into every session to prepare my heart and my hands to deliver truth through music and lyrics.
