Joseph Hallman is a successful young Philadelphia composer. He has worked extensively with some of the brightest performers in the industry, including the young American phenom, Alisa Weilerstein. Here, Alisa plays his Cello COncerto (The St. Petersburg) in a live recording with the St. Petersburg Chamber Philharmonic, Jeffrey Meyer Conductor and Artistic Director.
The piece was written for Alisa in 2007 and performed in March 2008 in St. Petersburg.
