Mountain John Hilligoss, Moe Dixon and Peter Wilson met in the late 1970s when all three performed as solo acts from New England to the Carolinas. They covered many miles, got to know each other’s music and enjoy each other’s company. Through the ‘80s and ‘90s their paths crossed less often but they stayed in touch - all working full time as solo entertainers.
In 2008 they planned a week-long reunion at “Grandma Saylor’s Cabin” in the Laurel Mountains of Pennsylvania. Dubbed Troubadour Camp, the three now gather annually where they’ve done a lot of catching up and ...
