Early Years…
It's the kind of story you love to hear. A couple of grammar-school friends decide to form a band, undeterred by the fact that none of them really know how to play their instruments. When they get together in the base¬ment of the drummer's parent's house they immediately began writing original songs... and learn as they go. They decide to call themselves
The Silence.
Establishing Themselves…
They enter High School and perform at house parties and a few “Battle of the Bands”. They record their first demo tape and begin to play in clubs throughout the Philadelphia area. After entering college they release their first CD titled “Ocean of Words” and shortly thereafter sign a production deal with Sonic Productions where they record three independently released CDs: “Nowhere;Now Here”, “Soulstice”, “The Silence EP”. They continually play clubs throughout the Northeastern US and earn airplay on college and regional radio. T...
