Our band, Royal Flush, was created by Trevor Short (guitar) and Dawson Schmidt (bass) in a Global Studies class during high school, 2014. We quickly became friends after discovering that we had similar interests in music. After school got out, we wasted no time. We frequently got together at each other's houses, going over cover songs from our favorite bands. We even began to write and perfect our first two songs, "I'm Giving Up"(by Trevor Short), and "Issues"(by Dawson Schmidt).
As the time ticked on, we realized that we had the potential to form a band. The only problem was that we were missing a crucial aspect; a drummer. In the search for a drummer, we came across Luis Corona, another student at our high school, and asked if he would be interested in preforming with us. He quickly signed on, and we began practicing together in his garage. After a few practices, we developed the name Royal Flush, which quickly caught on around school. <...
