Concert pianist Peter Allen has continually delighted audiences with his power, poetry, and entirely engaging artistry. This versatile artist has performed concertos with orchestras, solo recitals, chamber music, and children’s concerts across the country. He is frequently broadcast over CBC Radio regionally and nationally. For many years he has been a regular performer with the “Music on the Hill” Concert Series at UNB Fredericton, the Scotia Festival of Music, Symphony New Brunswick, Symphony Nova Scotia, and the St. Cecilia Concert Series. Peter has also performed in most communities in the Maritimes, to rave reviews and standing ovations.

He is Professor of Piano in the Department of Music at Dalhousie University and is also an active composer, having fulfilled commissions from various concert presenters, including his Haligonian Rhapsody for Two Pianos, commissioned by St. Cecilia Concert Series in 2000. In 2001, his Mar Atla...
