“Me & My Best Friends” is Bob Levy's second CD, that celebrates some old and new collaborations. More diverse than "OUT IN THE COLD," Bob's first jazz CD collection that he released in 2006, this new project reunites him with composer David Coons, and three new writing partners: Karen Jacobsen, Dennis Livingston and Harriet Goldberg. It also brings together multi-talented producer, arranger and musician, Jamey Whiting with gifted vocalists Perry Danos who was featured on Bob's first jazz CD and two-time 2008 Grammy nominee, Carolyn Martin who’s exquisite voice is reminiscent of Rosemary Clooney. Also on this new CD of original jazz, blues & pop songs are some old friends: vocalists John Foster, Juli Maners, Mike Lusk, Shelly Miller and special guests, Karen Jacobsen and Dane Vannatter.
