Fire at High Sea
So the new album is entirely instrumental. The original concept was to record the score of a non-existent film, leaving it up to the listener to piece together a story line from the moods suggested by the music. This was set up to encourage listener interpretation, to inspire a story in your head, a daydream. The writing was approached linearly with absolutely no preconceived ideas about where it would go, it was built one song at a time in the order they appear on the album. And yes, there is a storyline to this album.
