Composing "I Fight the Dark" was one of the most fantastic things I have done in my life. The idea came for it when I was going through a bit of a rough spot where I was being tormented by nightmares that left me unable to sleep. I wanted to highlight every minute detail of that through this song. From the dark gated synths to the redeeming arpeggiated synths, "I Fight the Dark" highlights the struggle through the darkness of the night that will eventually lead to sanctuary of the morning light.
