Christmas Presence
This is a single from my "Heart 'n' Hands" CD, which is based on and inspired by A Course in Miracles.
Figured it might be a good one to release around Christmas time. Here's what I wrote for the liner notes on the CD itself:
For me, if the 13 songs on this CD were to represent Jesus and the 12 apostles, this would be the J-man himself. I mean that just to give special props to this song, and others have noted its uniqueness as well. Its simple, childlike quality is both fitting for the theme, and also gets to the heart of the ultimately very simple message of A Course in Miracles: That we are no different than God, and that as God is Love, so must we be, and this has never changed and never could change. So all that we must do is to rest in that faith and learn whatever lessons we need to along the way – as much as we are in the way – and learn, little by little, to accept the greatest gift of all, that of “Presence.” And th...
