Isai is a Puerto Rican songwriter and guitarist from New Jersey. His music is a continuum of influences. Both in English and Spanish, his compositions root themselves within the tradition and yet explore new territory with personal observations, imagery, feel, and themes that depart from unresolved human yearnings to unpredictable existence. Alongside with guitar and harmonica, Isai's repertoire consists of songs that have musical roots in folk, jibaro/guajiro, blues, rock, jazz, and improvisation.
