Raised in the rolling hills of Chattanooga, Tennessee – YGTUT is an established singer/songwriter specializing in neo-soul and southern bounce. After co-founding “theHouse” with TDE’s Isaiah Rashad, Tut released his debut and critically acclaimed project Preacher’s Son. The project received glowing reviews and a firm Pitchfork score of 7.3. Since releasing his debut project, YGTUT consistently performs at venues throughout the United States, often times with a live band.

Born Kevin Adams, his stage name, T-U-T, is an acronym for “The Understood Truth.” In 2010 while attending MTSU, YGTUT and Isaiah Rashad formed a collective of musicians called theHouse.
