Welcome to the 4th Annual Young Irish Musicians Weekend (YIM) presented by the Center for Irish Music in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The Young Irish Musicians Weekend, conceived by CIM's founder, Kate Dowling, is unique in its focus on handing down the tradition to the next generation of Irish traditional musicians.

The 4th Annual Young Irish Musicians Weekend 2010 featured an impressive collection of visiting artists, all of whom share a deep knowledge and understanding of traditional Irish music from their own areas. The line-up was Clare-born fiddle virtuoso Martin Hayes (son of PJ Hayes), Birmingham/Clare flute and whistle player Kevin Crawfore, US-based fiddle player Randal Bays, our own Dáithí Sproule from Derry on guitar and song, and Danny Diamond from Belfast/Dublin, also on fiddle.
