Invader
INVADER is a band from Seattle and is a real insider tip; and thus an ideal candidate for the Pure Steel Group. They formed in 1981 and recorded only two demos and one album until they split up again in the early 90s. This album has now been remastered and will be released in good time with the band’s reunion.
The album begins with a spoken-word-intro by Alfred Hitchcock and then leads the listeners through metal paradise. The first song presents screaming guitars with a warm sound, which will be like a wet dream for Sacred-Metal-Board-regulars, Keep-it-True-Fans and Snakepit-readers.
But the other nine songs are also full of passion. High-pitch-vocals, some epic songs, melancholy keyboards; this is all part of the band’s only studio-album. This album might have been very successful, had it not been for Grunge-music, which became very popular then in the Seattle-area.
A must have for every US-Metal-Fan!
