Jai (pronounced Jay), of St. Louis Missouri, is a former background singer for gospel duo, Mary Mary and is featured on Lecrae's new album, Rebel on the song "Live Free," as well as on J.R. of Cross Movement Records' "Life By Stereo" album on the songs "Tonight" and "Ok." Jai is a third generation minister, a worship Pastor, an entrepreneur, a student, a wife and a mother. At an early age Jai knew that music would somehow be a part of her life. Jai was always the token soloist at elementary plays and musicals, but later Jai took it upon herself to learn how to play instruments so that she could someday become a musician at her Father's Church.
